**Be sure to include a copy of your RMA, INVOICE, and/or name and address inside the box so we know who to refund
- Once received, we will inspect the items and refund the individual items promptly. Please allow 3-5 days to process. You will receive a refund confirmation email. Allow for approximately 2-10 days for it to appear on your statement depending on banks.
If you received DISCOUNTED SHIPPING and later return the items; our original cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. Example: Your order is $250 and qualifies for discounted shipping. You return the item and the refund is $250 minus $14.57 shipping fees we paid to ship your original order. To estimate this number, look at the first rate displayed below the discounted shipping option at checkout.
Return Policy
You may return new, unopened items to us within 15-120 days of delivery, depending on the product. Visit the product page to see "Product Return Policy" timeline. (This excludes non-returnable items such as injectables such as sterile water, personal items such as mesh panties, or short expiry items.)

Medical Supplies (15-30 DAYS) - Birth Pools & Non-expiring birth products (60-120 DAYS)
- Birth Supplies with expiry dates such as vitamins/ointments (30-60 DAYS)
If you are unsure if your items can be returned, please email us at info@birthsuppliescanada.ca with an itemized list of the items you want to return with your order number.
- Items must be returned in new condition and in their original packaging.
- We do not refund partial packages (partial bulk discounted items)
- Shipping fees for orders that have already shipped are non-refundable
- Special order items and unusually high quantity orders are subject to a 30% restocking fee
If the return is a result of our error we will pay for return shipping, if not the shipping will be deducted from the refund. In situations where an item was "discounted or free shipping", a shipping fee will still be deducted from the refund for goods returned.
If it is a Birth Pool that has been opened, we are not able take it as a return. if the pool is coming back because it is not wanted but is still sealed, shipping is the responsibility of the customer and the original shipping paid for items that have already been shipped to you are non-refundable.
However, if you received something that was broken, opened, or damaged in any way please call us and we will make sure that we promptly replace the item.
Exchanges
If you received a faulty item and need to exchange it for the same item, please send us an e-mail to request a replacement. If you would like to exchange an item for a different one, please return the original item and you will be refunded your original purchase price once we receive the item. Place another order for the item you wish to purchase. You do not have to wait for us to receive the original item before placing the new order.
Warranty Claims
If you have received a faulty medical device, please know that we need to adhere to a strict reporting method. Please complete the Medical Device Warranty Claim form
Birth Pools
Any manufacturer's defects need to be reported promptly. TAKE PHOTOS. It is HIGHLY recommended that pools be opened and inspected well prior to a due date so that if there is a manufacturing defect it can be replaced well in time for the birth. However, all opened pools/liners do not qualify for return once opened - only for manufacturing defects. If a pool is purchased second-hand, the warranty is no longer in effect, even if it is within 5 uses or one year from the original purchase. Only an original purchaser can make a warranty claim.
