2. Test your birth pool

Some of the most common questions we get are:

- "When should we open up the box?"
- "Can it be returned if not used?"

The answer is no. Once you take it out of the box, it cannot be returned. So you can wait until you’re in labor and hope the pool inflates well - however we recommend testing it ahead of time at around 37 weeks gestation. Inflate it, leave it overnight, and if it’s still full of air in the morning, you’re good to go.
