8. Drain your pool
Remove the water from your pool using a submersible water pump.
It takes about 45 minutes to drain the pool. When it’s nearly empty, you’ll hear the pump sucking air—at that point, lift one side of the liner and tip it up to get the last bit of water out. Then remove and dispose of the liner.
