HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO ARRIVE?
You will have the option to select a shipping method at checkout. Free and inexpensive shipping is usually Canada Post expedited. You can expect your order to arrive within approx. 1-7 days from the day it shipped. You will be notified by email when your order has shipped and given a tracking number to follow. Packages tend to arrive quicker to major cities. Here are some *average delivery time estimates by province. Remember we are located in Calgary, AB so times will fan out from there.

Free shipping is within Canada only. Please note: we reserve the right to ask for surcharge if shipping fees exceed $25 (as may happen with exceptionally heavy items, or items shipped a very long distance) - this is rare and we would contact you same day with an option of surcharge or full refund.
PICK UP OPTION
If you choose our Pick up option (for Calgary area residents):
All orders placed with credit cards internationally will be charged in Canadian funds. The purchaser will then receive the accurate amount, in their currency at the most recent exchange rates. This will reflect on their statement.
You may return new, unopened items sold and fulfilled to us within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Items should be returned in their original packaging. If the return is a result of our error we will pay for the shipping, if it is not the shipping will be deducted from the refund. In situations where an item was "free shipping", a shipping fee will still be deducted from the refund for goods returned by choice.
If it is a Birth Pool that has been opened, we are not able take it as a return. if the pool is coming back because it is not wanted but is still sealed, shipping is the responsibility of the customer and the original shipping paid will not be refunded.
However, if you received something that was broken, opened, or damaged in any way please call us and we will make sure that you are either reimbursed or we will replace the item.
If you received a faulty item and need to exchange it for the same item, please send us an e-mail to request a replacement. If you would like to exchange an item for a different one, please return the original item and you will be refunded your original purchase price once we receive the item. Place another order for the item you wish to purchase. You do not have to wait for us to receive the original item before placing the new order.
Please note that it takes us 3 to 5 business days to process returns once they arrive.
Regular La Bassine and Birth Pool in a Box birth pools have single use or one year warranties. Any manufacturer's defects need to be reported within 30 days of delivery. It is HIGHLY recommended that pools be opened and inspected well prior to a due date so that if there is a manufacturing defect it can be replaced well in time for the birth. If a pool is purchased second-hand, the warranty is no longer in effect, even if it is within 5 uses or one year from the original purchase. Only an original purchaser can make a warranty claim.
