Water Between Pool and Liner – What to Know
The most common reason for water appearing between the pool and the liner is condensation—this is normal and expected, especially with warm water in a cooler room.
🔍 Possible Liner Damage?
While condensation is usually the cause, there’s a small chance the liner was damaged:
- Liners are made of plastic and can crack if unfolded while still cold and not given time to acclimate to room temperature
- If there were a crack or hole, you would likely have noticed it more clearly during setup or use
If you’re able to locate a visible hole in the liner, please send us a photo so we can investigate further.
Important Reminders
- Pools almost always get wet, even when using a liner
- The liner is designed as a protective barrier to support hygienic use between birth and simplify cleanup - but not a guaranteed waterproof seal
- After every birth—whether at home, a hospital, or birth center—the pool must still be disinfected and fully dried to prevent mold or deterioration
