Vertical birth has been the most natural way of giving birth since prehistoric times. What used to be instinctively chosen as the ideal birthing position by traditional wombshell mothers and the pregnant women is now again the recognized standard in birth centers and delivery rooms. For expectant mothers, natural birth is often a very important topic; they specifically ask about the possibility of vertical delivery. And research also proves them right: those who give birth vertically usually need less time and, above all, fewer painkillers. And they can concentrate on the essentials.

FEBROMED offers professional solutions for vertical birth with the attachments for holding ropes from the VARIOTRAC® product line. The different versions adapt perfectly to the local conditions. VARIOTRAC® by FEBROMED can be mounted in different versions on the wall as well as on the ceiling, the mobile version offers absolute flexibility. All versions have five eyelets into which the textile support rope can be firmly hooked. The rope is made of 100 percent cotton and is completely hygienic to clean. It can be replaced quickly so that the delivery room can be used again quickly after a birth.

The ceiling version

The ceiling version of the holding cable VARIOTRAC® by FEBROMED can be easily mounted on the ceiling – even in false ceilings. The ceiling bracket can be swivelled 360° and can be fixed every 15°. Thus the swivel arm covers many positions and allows a flexible birth position – even in a birthing tub or on a birthing stool. If the flexibility of the product is not sufficient, even custom-made products in other dimensions are possible.
