    International Shipping Policy

    International Shipping Policy

By placing an order with Birth Supplies Canada, you confirm and agree to the following:

    Importer Responsibility

    • I am the importer of record for this order and am responsible for ensuring the product I purchase is lawful to import into my country.

    • I understand that Birth Supplies Canada is a Canadian company operating under Health Canada regulations and is not notified of or qualified to interpret regulations in other countries.

    • I accept that labeling and packaging comply with Canadian standards, but may not meet other country-specific requirements.

    Customs, Duties, and Taxes

    • International shipments may be subject to customs inspection, delays, import duties, or refusal by border agencies.  Customs in most countries clear within a few days but can occasionally delay your order up to 60 days.  This does not qualify your order for cancellation or refunds during this waiting period.

    • All customs duties, taxes, tariffs, or other fees assessed are the responsibility of the customer.

    • If a shipment is returned to us by customs, we will refund the product value only. Shipping fees and any customs holding fees billed to us are non-refundable.

    Currency

    • All orders are charged in Canadian funds. Your credit card provider will convert the total to your local currency at the current exchange rate.

    Medical Supplies Outside Canada

    • While our items have valid medical device licensing for Canada, they may not have equivalent licensing in other countries.

    • We recommend purchasing from a supplier within your own country to avoid customs delays or refusal.

    High-Risk or Difficult-to-Ship Items

    • We reserve the right to cancel orders for products at high risk of damage or non-delivery, including but not limited to liquids such as saline.

    • Individual bags of saline are difficult to ship affordably and safely; case quantities are more likely to arrive intact.
