This new full colour, unlaminated chart shows the baby at the breast in the positions most useful to new mums. Women are shown nursing lying down, and using the clutch, modified clutch and football positions. The black and white line drawing inserts show variations of these positions.

Also shown is a baby properly latched on to the breast and a cross section of that image showing the lactating breast, the extension of the nipple to the baby’s soft palate and the baby’s tongue placement. This set is an excellent teaching reference for people training in lactation as well as a valuable visual aid for childbirth and breastfeeding classes.
